Crux Underwriting, the multi-line specialty MGA, today announced two senior leadership appointments as the business continues its next phase of growth.

Mike O'Connor has been appointed Chief Commercial Officer, expanding his responsibilities beyond his current role as Chief Underwriting Officer. As Chief Commercial Officer and Co-founder, Mike will lead Crux's commercial strategy across the business, focusing on distribution, broker relationships and growth initiatives.

At the same time, Natalie Gregory joins Crux as CEO of Political Violence & Terrorism. Natalie brings more than two decades of experience from AXA XL, where she spent her time in a variety of underwriting and leadership roles. Most recently, she served as Underwriting Manager, building extensive expertise across the political violence and terrorism market.

The appointments reflect Crux's continued investment in underwriting leadership, technology and distribution as it expands its ability to connect new sources of business with London market capacity.

Crux has built a strong foundation with talented underwriting teams, aligned capital partners and a clear vision for the future. I'm looking forward to taking on this broader commercial role and helping drive the next stage of the company's growth, while continuing to strengthen relationships with brokers, partners and clients across our markets. Mike O'Connor, Chief Commercial Officer
I was excited by the opportunity to join a business that is genuinely combining underwriting expertise with modern technology. Crux has the agility to innovate, develop targeted distribution strategies and bring new sources of business to the London market. The chance to learn something new while helping shape the next stage of the company's growth was incredibly appealing. Natalie Gregory, CEO, Political Violence & Terrorism

Mike's transition to Chief Commercial Officer and Natalie's appointment mark an important milestone in Crux's evolution. Together, the moves strengthen the company's leadership team as it continues to invest in technology, innovate how specialist insurance is traded, and create new opportunities by bringing high-quality risks to the London market from around the world.
